of surveys, in addition to much larger "control" type projects that cover areas as vast as entire counties or
states. GPS surveying systems rely on satellite technology to ascertain and measure precise points on the
surface of the earth.
GPS technology is well-suited for surveying in open areas which have unobstructed views of
